BC Rockies

Stretched across the mighty Rocky, Purcell, Selkirk, and Monashee Mountain ranges, the BC Rockies region combines numerous parks, natural hot springs, challenging golf courses, and an intriguing heritage to attract the most astute travellers. Engulf your body in the steaming, soothing waters of the natural hot springs that are dotted through the region. For centuries, First Nation's people have used the springs for their healing powers, so allow the mineral-enriched waters to reawaken your mind, body, and spirit.

The BC Rockies border the province of Alberta to the east and the states of Washington, Idaho, and Montana to the south. The Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) and Highway 3 cut through the region east and west. For travel north and south, use Highways 6, 23, 31, 93, and 95. Commercial airlines fly into Castlegar, Cranbrook and Fairmont while most cities in the region are accessible by bus.
