The Museum at Campbell River is one of the finest community museums in BC states the Encyclopedia of British Columbia. Within this modern, international class museum exhibits focus on First Nations, colonization, early settlement and resource industries. One can climb into an early logging truck, step aboard a floathouse dock, or sit within a darkened theatre where a local chief narrates an ancient legend, as lights reveal a series of spectacular ceremonial masks. Contemporary, original First Nations art is carried in the Museum Shop. The Museum also offers an extensive Archives, audiovisual theatre and year-round history based programs.
