Eligibility
The Travel.bc.ca Digital Photo Contest is open to any amateur photographer who visits British Columbia. To be eligible for the contest all submissions must be original, unpublished photographs taken in British Columbia and of British Columbia content. Directors and employees of Travel.bc.ca Online Inc. are not eligible for this contest; this includes their immediate families, cohabitants, agents or contractors. Photos entered must not have been previously published. Individuals can only win once per month per category. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age at the date of entry submission.

Format
All entries must be made via the official online entry form located on Travel.bc.ca and must be in digital format in the form of jpg files with a maximum file size of 300Kb. Content alteration of digital files is not acceptable; tonal or colour corrections are acceptable.

Entries and Identification
Entrants are limited to one (1) entry per category per month. Each entry must have a fully completed online entry form. If an entry is received without one clearly designated category and/or location of photograph judges reserve the right to place the entry in an appropriate category. Entries not meeting these format and identification requirements will not be eligible for judging. Prior to receiving a prize, the winners will be required to sign an agreement declaring that a) he or she does not sell photographs or charge a fee for taking pictures; b) the photography submitted is his or her original work; c) the photography was taken at the location specified on the entry form.

Publication
By submitting the 2006 Travel.bc.ca Digital Photo Contest entry form, the contestant grants the sponsors the unrestricted and exclusive rights to use photograph(s) for any purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, publishing your photograph(s) in print or electronic form for promotional purposes without further compensation, and the right to use the photographers name as a credit along with the photograph. The photographer must own all rights to any photographs entered in this contest. It is the responsibility of the contestant to ensure that publication of the photographs raises no legal claims. Accordingly, you hereby agree to compensate the sponsors fully regarding any claims arising out of the use of your photograph(s). Photograph(s) previously published in full or in part in other publications, contests etc, will be disqualified. Model releases are the responsibility of the entrant and must be made available in the event the photo is a winner. Winners must also sign a waiver indicating that the photo has not been previously published.

Deadline
Entries for each months prize draw must be received before the last Friday of the draw month. Twenty (20) winners will be selected and notified by the 15th of the following month.

Judging
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges at the offices of Travel.bc.ca Online Inc. The judge’s decision is final.

Return of Entries
Winning entries will be retained by Travel.bc.ca Online Inc. and all entries are non-returnable.

Responsibility
Travel.bc.ca Online Inc. cannot be held responsible for entries that are lost, corrupted, or delayed during transit.

Prizes
Each month twenty (20) selected winners will receive an unlock code for a full version of ‘acdsee 8 Photo Manager’ software which may be downloaded from: http://www.acdsee.com/products/acdsee/. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, and are not convertible to cash.
